Genre Decision Blog

 I decided to use a mystery genre for my opening sequence. It entices you with tension, draws you to hidden truths, and forces you to work the puzzle alongside the characters. The genre's shroud of secrecy, clues, and constant dance between knowledge and suspense felt like the perfect genre for my story. I wanted a story that shows complex feelings, surprising turns, and the satisfaction of gradually revealing the truth layer by layer. This Final Task will be an intriguing story that will leave the audience wanting more and itching to discover how the plot will unravel.

  What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? "Archive 81" bombards its audience with confusing and constantly changing imagery. This adds a level of mystery and unknown to the already cryptic film. There are scenes of many TV screens broadcasting an unknown individual talking to panning an anonymous face. From the start alone, the title sequence tells the audience that there are many things for them to learn as they watch the film. The sequence is full of disarray and holds are dark atmosphere.
