What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked? 

Parasite masterfully blends the mystery genre with trenchant social commentary, highlighting the stark contrast between the wealthy park family and the impoverished Kim family. The film uses their contrasting living spaces, employment opportunities, and access to resources to illustrate the deep inequalities in Korean society. The film's cinematography is stunning, using vertical and horizontal compositions to visually represent the power dynamics between the families. The contrast between the spacious, sun-drenched Park house and the dark, cramped Kim basement apartment reinforces the themes of inequality and social hierarchy.

What conventions of the genre did the movie have that have that did not appeal to you, and you are thinking of not filming for your final task?

While not gratuitous, the film does contain some scenes of violence that might be disturbing for some viewers. You might consider toning down the violence or finding alternative ways to convey the tension and brutality of the situation. The film's shocking plot twist could potentially overshadow the emotional impact of the story for some audiences. This adds a level of mystery and unknown to the already cryptic film. There are scenes of many TV screens broadcasting an unknown individual talking to panning an anonymous face. From the start alone, the title sequence tells the audience that there are many things for them to learn as they watch the film. The sequence is full of disarray and holds are dark atmosphere.
