Production Blog- Nearing the End

Image
Hello there my blog friends. It’s me Daram again. In this blog, I will be providing an update on the progress so far of the music video and my contributions towards it. So in the last blog, I mentioned that Mckendy and I have concluded working on scenes 6 and 7. Just to recap on those scenes, Scene 6 was filmed with a two-shot, showing Mckendy and Jordon walking to a bench together. In scene 7, the camera captures a close-up of McKendy and Jordon having a conversation on the bench, and they eventually get hungry. I have recorded both of those scenes. Moving on to the next two scenes, Mckendy and I have decided to focus on scenes 8 and 9. Scene 8 will be recorded as a long shot. This is the scene where Mckendy and Jordon are walking towards a restaurant to find a meal because they got hungry. The next scene recorded was scene 9 which is recorded as a long shot view. This is the scene where Mckendy and Jordon are working together to carry some boxes. Both of these scenes were recorded b

Hello there fellow bloggers! It's me Daram again. In this blog, I will be continuing the talk on the process of Mckendy and I's music video. Just to recap, I have recorded scene five where Mckendy is walking to his friend (Jordon), while Jordon is waving at him. I also recorded scene one where Mckendy is awakened by a text message from his friend (Jordon). The scenes three and four that followed were the ones we chose to concentrate on. In scene three, Mckendy is getting ready for the day by washing his face and picking out his clothes from his wardrobe. It is intended to record this scene from up close. In the fourth scene, McKendy exits his home through the front door and is on his way to see his friend Jordon. A medium shot was used to capture this image. I'll be the one capturing these moments on camera. Now, we decided to focus on scenes 6 and 7. Scene 6 will be recorded as a two- shot and scene 7 will be recorded in a close up camera view. Scene 6 is the scene where

Hello there blog!! In this blog, I will be giving you guys another update on the adventure and progress of the music video. So far, I have covered the planning for the editing of the video, I have recorded scene five where Mckendy is walking to his friend (Jordon) while Jordon is waving at him, and then finally I recorded scene one where Mckendy is awakened by a text message from his friend (Jordon). The next scenes we decided to focus on were scenes three and four where in scene three, Mckendy is getting ready for the day by washing his face and picking out his outfit for the day from his closet. This scene is planned to be recorded from a close shot. Scene four consists of McKendy walking out of his house through the front door, about to walk to his friend (Jordon). This scene was recorded in a Medium shot. I will be the one recording those scenes. We can't wait to see how our music video turns out. I've come up with a lot of ideas to improve the video beyond what we original

Production Blog- The Progress Of An Adventure

Hello there bloggers!! This blog will be about the progress of the music video so far. As I stated in previous blogs, So far, I've started to edit the scenes whilst also planning out additional editing ideas to figure out what else I might add to the editing to make the music video outstanding. Mckendy and I came up with a lot of transition ideas to edit for the music video's opening. In the last blog, I said that I recorded the scene where Mckendy walks out of his house, and onto the sidewalk to go see his friend who texted him (Jordon). This scene was recorded in a Medium-Close up shot. The next scene was recorded in a medium shot but it is the scene where the whole music video starts off. Yes, it is weird that the sequence of scenes was recorded at different times but Mckendy and I are still getting it done. I recorded the scene where Mckendy is sleeping and waking up from the text message of his friend (Jordon). While Mckendy tries to reschedule the recording days so that i

Production Blog- The beginning of friendship

Hello there bloggers!! This blog will be about the first steps taken at the beginning of the music video. To start off, My partner Mckendy has recorded the scenes of him waking up from a text message from his friend (Jordon). Jordon is playing the role of McKendy’s friend in the music video. So far I have started to edit the scenes but also plan out more ideas for the editing to figure out what more I could add to the editing in order to make the music video a great one. Mckendy and I have brainstormed many transitions to edit for the beginning of the music video. The next scene recorded was by yours truly... me. I recorded the scene where Mckendy walks out of his house, and onto the sidewalk to go see his friend that texted him (Jordon). This scene was recorded in a Medium-Close up shot. So far this has been the only scene I have recorded and besides recording, I have just been planning out on all the editing while Mckendy tries to rearrange the recording days in order for it to be co

My group for the Music Video

Image
Hello again blog! It's me, Daram. In this blog, I will be talking about my group for the music video. I have decided to work with Mckendy Florestal. He is a very good friend of mine. The reason why I have chosen Mckendy to work with me in a group is because I have known Mckendy ever since kindergarten in elementary school and that correlation, trust, and friendship are just there within us when we work with each other. Usually, it's hard for me to work in groups with people I don't know even though I'm aware that it's good to do so because you get to conversate with more people. However, in my case, I like to choose people I know because those would be people I can trust and rely on to do their work because dependency is something I don't work really well with. For our music video, Mckendy and I have decided to choose the song, 'Love Songs' by Kaash Paige. We chose this song to be in our music video because not only does it convey a story of modern-day l

Hello, blog!! It's me, Daram again. I learned to use many different types of technology during the process of making this commercial. For starters, I learned way more about caput and its many different features. CapCut is a very unique and interesting editing software and I will definitely be using it again whenever I need to edit anything. It was also very simplistic. It didn't take me a very long time to make the commercial because of how simplistic CapCut is, everything works out so smoothly and it is very hard to come across technical difficulties when using CapCut. I learned many things from putting this project together. I learned how to use the music background feature and it was really fun playing around with it to make the content in the commercial correlate with the rhythm of the chosen song. I also learned more about the transitions that made the aesthetics of the commercial much more vibrant and cooler. I feel like in able to make my future projects better, I can pu
